24 Hour Clock Military Time

The airline industry uses the 24-hour clock almost exclusively and would typically pronounce full hours as the number-word for the hour followed by "hundred" with an optional "hours" to clarify that the speaker is referring to a time of day. For instance, 1600 would be pronounced "sixteen hundred" or "sixteen hundred hours". The time 1830 would be pronounced "eighteen thirty". 1000 is "ten hundred" rather than "one thousand"; hence, 2000 is "twenty hundred".
